They r design to melt,disintegrate or dissolved at the body temperature.
They are use in case when patients suffering from nausea
,vomiting and GIT disturbances.
They have used in local infection in vagina and rectum.
Drugs like hypnotic(diazepam,Nitrazepam)antispasmodics r given as suppositories.
